Yes, I got it done. :/ It's flat and brittle but sleek and managable. There are, of course, good and bad things about it. Honestly, I just wanted my hair to be more shiny & manageable so that I wont need to spent time combing & styling it. The hairdresser suggested rebonding. EEK! Anyway, I shall explain what torment I had to undergo. :)
#1 Hair was washed. I was hoping the person messaged my head, but I think they would charge extra for that. Ahh.
#2 A strong scented cream/lotion was applied on the hair. It smelled like ammonia. EEK! Therefore, this lotion most likely had proteins in it? From what I know, the hair is made up of proteins called keratin. Applying the lotion, will break down this proteins. I need to do my research. :/ It was left to rot in my hair for 1 hour. I seriously got a headache smelling it okay!
#3 Wash hair again.
#4 Dried the hair and they got ready to use the dreaded straightening irons. Those devils are like 175 DEGREE CELCIUS! What?!? Blah. The lady looked tired half way doing my hair. MUAHAHA. She persevered and VOILA, my first time REBONDING.
Wah. First 3 days cannot wash hair. The hair was super oily at the roots. Ahh. & got a terrible headache because of the smell of the rebonding cream. PURE TORTURE! Bah.
