Oh how beautiful. Last Friday on 24th Oct, there was no school. BUT, had to wake at ungodly hours of the morning to get ready to go to school. It was all worth it alright! Besides the fact that I slept really late the night/morning before(depends on how you see it), I just HAD TO pull myself out of bed. I believe in KARMA (from personal experience *hint hint* to nicole and shu). MUAHAHAHA! Well, when you decide to back out or become a no-show for something (and with no proper reason), it will really affect one's credibility.
I bet you think this is about you, maybe it is.SPORTS DAY: KATONG SCHOOL-styleI reached a little later than the time I was supposed to reach but it was okay. Stumbled upon a group of lost people in foreign uniform. I saw one of the kids had a huge
KS logo on the shirt - obviously they were from Katong School! Ushered them to the Sports Complex. (:
KARMA BETTER BE GOOD TO ME!Green house like rocks to the core. So, we were third overall but honestly, I had fun with the other house marshalls - hakeem, amanda, samuel and mary. An event is nothing without the participants. Again, from personal experience. :D AnywaSome cool incidents that happened or was most memorable was:
- A little boy (RYAN - say his name the indonesian way) that smacked hakeem's precious face with pompoms. (and hakeem being so helpless!)
- Allowing a little boy (who is like totally adorable and innocent) pull my two hands to his chest, making it seem as though I was hugging him from behind. Caught me by surprise and YU MEI caught me red-handed. MUAHAHA!
- Watching a girl strut her stuff as she wore her swimming trunks.
- Letting a little girl tie my hair into a tight bun.
- Accompanied a girl to the ladies, and realising that she neither flushed nor washed her hands after doing her business.
- Playing for red house and WINNING. Eventhough it means seeing Green house get pwned. (HAHA!)
- Getting $20 from selling BX my brand new (kinda) Public Speaking book! WOOT!
HOW EVENTFUL! And the kids are like really really adorable and they are absolutely smart and enthusiastic about...WINNING! YAY, Katong School. I love the patience, care and attention that the teachers gave the students.

Straight after that, rushed home to get ready to watch...
HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3Both shu and me were late and missed the first 15 minutes of it. Somebody threw popcorn at me...PRISCILLA! And nicole was like totally engaged in the movie. The choreography is very well-done and also well executed. GOOD JOB! Azeemah cried during the last part of the movie. Hehe. Took pictures of the cardboard cut-outs, banners and everything and anything HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. Mary and Weimin thought they broke Sharpay's cardboard cutout. Very funny people.
I want a HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL marathon one day. Watch all 3 movies at one go. Popcorns and all. We need all 3 DVDS and a very comfy and spacious house for us to jump around, shout and dance out butts off! WOO.
First few days of school and honestly, the modules this time will be much more challenging. Come on, first semester there were modules like public speaking and academic writing! Even for my CDS there is a book that is "strongly advised" to be bought. There will be a test (40 MCQ and 1 short-structured question). THEORY THEORY THEORY. *shoots head* I want some Mathematics modules, at least you won't need to memorise chunks of information in order to pass the subject. I foresee a dark, dark future ahead. Lots of stressful, sleepless nights. People being put under pressure and eventually, losing it. I might throw terrible hissy fits and start hiding in the library to avoid everyone and anyone.
Well, what's the worst that can happen?Above all of the above "worries", there is still SC matters to settle. In fact, many SC matters to solve. First day of school and the AGM report starts to haunt me. Now that is settled, we have another problem arising. More proposals to send. Hopefully, there will be at least 10 designs for the T-shirt contest. Will be missing 5 days of school. Really need to start working hard, and I know it's easier to say than to do.
I am suffocating
And I just need to breathe
I'm smothered under pressure
I must be relieved.
Nothing I do is right
Nothing they say is fair
I cry and scream and throw a fit
But no one seems to care.

Diclaimer! There shall be no picture spamming as no pictures were taken during the whole course of the holiday. Thank you.WOOHOO. When hari raya comes, you know that people like me get flooded with happiness (and wealth). MUAHAHA! Nadiah and me went out shopping
IN THE CITY. Which is really unlike us, cause we tend to bake cookies at home or read books in the library. All of which happen in the suburbs. (:
FAR EAST PLAZA The trip there was priceless. There was this group of boys (mostly malays) and they reek of B.O. We had to adapt ourselves to the smell during the whole bus trip cause they were on their way to Far East too. *sneers* When a group of Indian girls came onto the bus, they shouted "
BUSUK SIOL (Smelly, siol)" loudly. Nadiah and me just stared at each other in digust
(as potrayed by the boy) and
imagined rolling our eyes in our mind. Cause they were the ones who really stinks. o.O
As usual, ate at Long John. Didnt get much there. Hence, ONWARDS TO PLAZA SINGAPURA!
↓PLAZA SINGAPURADid a lot of spending here. (: And we went crazy
(literally, JUMPING FOR JOY as potrayed by the little girl, but less cute and more spastic)at
DAISO(
this shop selling everything for $2). HEHE. Foundation for $2, how insane is that. But we didn't buy it cause -
when things are too good to be true, it is. HEHE. Went around looking for the White Babydoll T-shirt. And we found it for $10! YAY!
Anyway, we decided to go to Peninsula to buy skinnies. ONWARDS TO PENINSULA!
↓PENINSULA PLAZA > SHOPPING CENTREReached and walked aimlessly around City Hall. Until we found the Plaza. There was this sewage tank and suddenly the whole air started to reek of -
yes, you guess it! FAECES. OH MY. Ended up in FUNAN IT Mall where we met Lena and friends. Chun Rong was like super skinny with help from his skinnies. HEHE. We went to peninsula plaza and realised that it wasn't the right place. There was this unfamiliar scent at the place and nadiah came to a conclusion: A place where foreign workers go to.
In the end, we realised we were at the wrong place! We decide to follow where all the
hip, young people go. Onwards to Peninsula Shopping Centre. HAHA. Hoodies are like everywhere and you can get it for $10-$15 there. Super cheap. There was this totally hot/cute dude who looked really misplaced selling skinnies and chains. But it doesn't matter, he was a really yummy eye candy
(as potrayed by the little girl with candy on her eyes). MUAHAHAHA!
I ♥ SHOPPING, to a certain extent.
Wahahaha. It has been like years (technically days) since I last posted because I haven't really have the mood to check emails amd such. Maybe you might know why. (: Anyway, watching COLD CASE while everyone is on
RAYA mode is fun. But my family doesn't get irk-ed by watching bloody corpses and eating festive food. DARN.

First timers guide to...CONTACT LENSES
Mum finally allowed me to make contact lenses. & honestly, it wasn't as glamorous as most people wearing it made it seem. The way we look like trying to get the lens to stick to our eyes is really unglam. In addition, I have long lashes which made it twice harder as I have to tame them NOT to touch the lenses.
Taking it out is a chore too. Erm, yay? No doubt those nerdy pair of spectacles are the easier choice, especially if you are late for school! It's like a fashion statement too. Gah. But if you got a pair of super hot aviators, wear those contact lenses when you need to. :D
