Promised myself to let go of the past and move into the future, namely 2009. I'm honest to say that 2008 resolutions, not all were met but it's okay. Actually, I realised I didnt have proper resolutions last year cause I was too busy thinking about the O Levels. Events I'm thankful for:

(1) Birthday
It was the first time ever I went out to celebrate my birthday. (cause I'm like a total home person and hate going out.) Usually, I will be at home watching tv and getting fat on junk food. It was fun being with people that really matters, you know, those who really cared. (oh yeah, I didnt post anything about it. WEIRD.)

(2) O Levels + JAE post
I was in such a dilemma, choosing either a Poly or a JC. I knew that I so dyingly wanted to pursue media. (YEAH, MEDIA!) I had so much pressure from relatives (and even my mum and brothers) who wanted me to get into a JC. But personally, I wasn't confident if I could get into the JC that I wanted. I looked at my list of 20 choices for the longest time ever. Making sure that every one of my choices was something that I do not mind taking. I almost sent in the JAE form with Serangoon JC as my first choice. Followed by Millenia Institute.

(3) Entry into TP post
I remember waking up in the morning to check the JAE results. I was disappointed but at the same time glad for what I got: Psychology Studies in TP. Disappointed that I didn't get my first choice which was getting in Nanyang JC. Glad, because I didn't get into Nanyang JC too. You know, that feeling.
I signed up for TP Orientation. And I did enjoy it. VENOS; Ver-jay-jay. Also, BI XIA was in the same group as me! Not realising that the friendships that I created will make life in TP a million times better. MASS DANCE is ❤❤❤!

(4) HSSSC
To run and be elected was two whole new experience. The results of the votes shocked me completely, it was bittersweet and to some extent - unpleasant (because I knew what was coming). Of course, after going through everything and slowly learning from people, I was able to adapt to all the changes. Also, I created friendships between members of the Main Committee. This won't be possible if I hadn't run. So, GIRLFRIENDS *squeeze squeeze*, FATE BROUGHT US TOGETHER! I was also able to get along with people from other clubs and even TPSU. Council meetings, LTC and club events really was a whole new, pleasant experience. Meeting people from other schools was cool yo. REALLY COOL indeed. (:

(5) TG1 post
I love the class - all the flaws and strengths. So, I must say TG1 (and basically, most of the PSYCHE geniuses in TP) are mostly last-minute workers. Except for an exceptional few - like maybe KOM! It was great having lessons with them, doing crazy things, having funny people, laughing at funny (and lame) jokes, bitching over life and stressing out about assignments. All of you are really awesome (and hopefully, we'll be in the same class for the next few years?). HEHE.

(6) TPRAWKS!!
It was an unusually fun experience. First time attending the event and to become a CL. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. First time using a walkie talkie. And earpiece. Came to school early in the morning. Really early. And to meet new (and the usual) people from other clubs. I enjoyed it, nonetheless. All 3 days were exciting and the Rawkers were a joy to be with. Hopefully, next year, I might be able to participate again. But as a PL, of course, so that I won't feel so...pressurised? HAHA! But the other CLs and those in GROOVY ORANGE (Brandon + Shi Hui) were really nice and helpful. The PLs were really, really nice too! <333 AWESOME.

(7) Idols ❤ post
Got hooked on new Indonesian hotties. (: & not forgetting, Toma.

(8) NAD + FIDA
So many things to say, I only hope for one thing: That we will ALWAYS keep in touch, no matter how old we get and wherever we will go in the future. Thank you for being there for the good and bad, especially the bad. More outings together, more time to bitch about life, school and some other things. HAH! Nadiah - OUR PACT! Next year, by next year...

So, spent the past days (or weeks) of holiday slacking and going out a lot. In actual fact, there is a number of assignments to think about. HOW SAD. Really sad indeed. Shall start once I get my biological rhythm back on track. :D God knows when.

23 December, CLASS CHALET

OH MY. Had fun at the chalet even though terence and friends left even before the BBQ started. At least Isaac boyfriend stayed. MUAHAHA. ANYWAY. I took 358 (assuming that it will pass by Downtown East). I took one big loop around Pasir Ris and ended up back at the interchange again. GENIUS right!

BBQ was fun, cause I did all the eating. (: Thank you to those who painstakingly cooked the food. Chin Kheng's 愛人 (I seriously forgot her name) stepped on my glasses (and now it's all crooked). GROWL. Jiaying had to leave early, damn sad. BOOHOO. Girl, we will need to set a date to go out and act barbaric one day alright! BX, where were you?

After BBQ, had our Christmas Night. We had to wear Santa hats and MISTER VAINPOT, CALEB was stressing about his hair. No matter what, it will still be ugly pretty. :D HAH! OMG! I got a totally chio set of spa beauty products from the gift exchange. Body scrub, lotion and all that. After that had the Limbo competition. *inserts limbo music here* Sherlyn was totally awesome! And she won herself 2 free tickets to either WWW/Escape. GROWL. Isaac sucked big time. :D

Bus ride home felt short. And felix saw this guy that looked like JOEL HO. I thought I he looked familiar too. So, I called Joel. (: Then the weird guy picked up the phone! Well, he was joel. -.- He came over to sit next to felix and said to me, "I thought you were a guy." I mean, seriously...

GIRLFRIENDS came over to bitch about life. The living room was turned into a comfy bedroom (complete with pillows). And we spent the afternoon slacking and getting high on junk food.

BUT BUT BUT we spent more time watching Princess' Diaries and Memoirs of a Geisha. Especially during the Geisha movie! We squirmed at all the disgusting scenes (and people) and kept saying how pretty Sayuri looked. OMG. Her eyes are gorgeous and blue (AND IT LOOKS REAL!).

DONUTS (or doughnuts) are YUMMY, but fattening.
WEDGES and FISH taste good with MAYO, TARTAR sauce and CHILLI.
MUG had never tasted as good as it did today.

Woke up after a night of tossing and turning. I swear it is so difficult for me to get my biological rhythm back to its original flow. INSOMNIA. GAH. Turned on the desktop to try to complete my 1500 word essay. Been trying every day but honestly, motivation is gone. Somebody, smack some senses into me. What incentive do I get for completing this early?

I need to draw, colours, shapes. My left hemisphere has been working far too hard. Doing too much logical thinking. I need a long break. Maybe in Bali (or how about Sentosa?). So unlike me to think of rewards before the process of getting it. But I REALLY AM TIRED.

Just overcame JET LAG (misused term, but it sounds cool). Probably cause MR GEEKY GUY was there and he made the lump o' lard a super happy piece of lard.

We came late to school at 6++ to stay over for...PERFECT NIGHT. I was crushed to find out that GG won't be there. But Shoe got a transfer into my department (Welcome to Aggro). Had fun ice-breaking and forgetting people's names cause we were given nicknames. Mine doesn't resemble me at all (namely, Horny). And dropping marbles. I LOVE CAPTAIN'S BALL, I PWNED BEN CHENG (kinda)! Piggybacking isn't fun (cause I'm fat and no one dares to carry me).

BBQ was nice, thank you CULINARY people! PJ party was surprisingly fun. Dressed up SICKO Samuel. But his was (honestly) not as sick as Brandon's. SERIOUSLY! That guy has some issues. :D It was all in the name of fun. Janell, you made that guy-that-we-were-so-not-looking-forward-to-seeing-at-all-for-the-whole-night smile. *heart breaks (accompanied by the sound of broken glass)* HAHA!

KennethK is the nicest person alive! He let me sleep on his very comfy sleeping bag and steal his POOH for the whole night(morning). You're AWESOME (just for that day)!

FINAL CLASH was fun after we lost and got to throw water bombs at each other. Ben Cheng was super awesome. National Dodgeball player, we shall battle again. (pees in pants) HAHA.

Just need to pass Advanced level and I shall be up to par with Edwin and Joel.

DEON totally rocked it at the CAN-CAN song (he got a freaking A). WOOT! And next time, shall bring my mp3 to play MALAY song with it. MUAHAHAHA! I GOT A B FOR OI OTSUKA's PEACH. TAKE THAT!

Ignoring the fact that we badly stink at all the games (i.e. Joel and me got knocked out on the first round of PARA PARA, we barely played for 10s, we lost in the ball throwing games - cause the balls were spoiled -.- or we really bad at it), the SPONGEBOB GAME WAS THE BEST.

It's like simply jumping on the "STOP" sign when the green light reaches the sign. At first we got through until the 3rd round only. We were satisfied with our 14 tickets. Then, we got to the 4th round (or was it 5th). And we cheered like nobody's business, cause we got 26 tickets.

Suddenly we decide to play again, after a few rounds of JUBEAT. We got through to all the rounds. It was now time for the JACKPOT CHALLENGE. The green light was moving fast towards us. Precision and accuracy is extremely vital for this game. JESSICA AND I stared intently at the green light and as soon as it reached the "stop" sign, we tapped on it and A BURST OF RAINBOW LIGHT EMERGED OUT OF THE "STOP" SIGN. Simultaneously, WE CHEERED UNTIL THE WHOLE ARCADE STARED AT US.

WE WON THE JACKPOT! All 303 tickets, ALL OURS! Bryan said I cheered in his ear for 10 mins (or was it 30 mins). How can one not be happy? We paraded around the arcade with our tickets, cause we wanted so badly to show it off. MUAHAHAHA!

Resilience

Happy because I got to eat to my wallet's content. (Yes, this is no typo error!) BBQ Chicken is such an awesome place to eat in when we have 4 MALAY and 1 CHINA girl together. (: Talking about life, taking unglam photos, gossip on _________ and _________. This kind of important information needs to be shared as keeping them to yourself is undoubtly selfish. What's more important is the charboiled chicken tasted like heaven. GAH.

Rushed back to school to attend lecture. OMFG. WE ARE LIKE TOTALLY GUAI STUDENTS PLS. And our storytelling session in the ILZ was a complete failure. With jun kai opening the door and crawling into the room. REALLY FREAKED ME OUT alright!

P.S. Too tired to complain. Shall save energy for other more vital things like - eating.
